AVX Corporation, a leading manufacturer of advanced passive components, has expanded its high-voltage multilayer capacitor series to include a 630V Range. Providing a high capacitance value, low ESRs at high frequencies and low leakage values in a small package, the 630V Range capacitor is designed as a drop-in replacement for a wide range of high-voltage, high-frequency applications such as snubbers in high-frequency power converters, resonators in SMPS, and high voltage coupling/DC blocking.

We have expanded our MLCC product offering to include a 630V range to meet the growing demands for this specific voltage capability. This offering encompasses a wide range of applications across several industries including automotive, telecommunications, industrial and military.

The 630V range is available in RoHS, tin-lead terminations and FLEXITERM™ versions. FLEXITERM is designed to enhance the mechanical flexure and temperature cycling performance of a standard ceramic capacitor, providing a solution for applications where board flexure and temperature cycle damage are a concern.

They also offer extremely low ESR, excellent high frequency performance and high current handling capacity.
